German test for A1 & A2: check your article knowledge

Use this online test to check how well you know der-die-das.

Choose your German level (A1 or A2) and see how confidently you recognize articles for German nouns.

This test works differently from a traditional PDF test: every correct answer reveals part of a hidden puzzle image.

After the test, the page automatically creates a color-coded der-die-das PDF with the words where you chose the wrong article.

Articles are organized by color: blue for "der", red for "die", green for "das". This makes learning articles easier without memorizing complicated rules.




You can also enter your own word list and test yourself. After the der-die-das test, a new practice list is automatically created so you can clearly see which words you still got wrong.
